Me: "Do you understand how to find the direct object in a sentence?"
Katie: "Yes."
Me: "Tell me."
Katie: "Find the verb and ask who or what is receiving the action."
Me: "Great, do you have any questions?"
Katie: "Have you ever met the Pope?"
