Birthday Party for the Blessed Mother

Since the Barrett family loves an excuse to party and the birthday of our Blessed Mother is an excellent thing to celebrate we had cake. I baked a blue cake and Katie and Erin iced it in white. Kelli was in charge of sprinkles....a few of which even made it on the cake. Today the older kids made Marian notebooks to celebrate the day. I may keep it up during the year adding as we learn more about the Blessed Mother in religion or as feast days come up. It is nice to take time out of work to celebrate and create.
