Divine Mercy Sunday
"Jesus told Sr Faustina: "Humanity will not find peace until it turns trustfully to divine mercy" (Diary, p. 132). Through the work of the Polish religious, this message has become linked for ever to the 20th century, the last of the second millennium and the bridge to the third. It is not a new message but can be considered a gift of special enlightenment that helps us to relive the Gospel of Easter more intensely, to offer it as a ray of light to the men and women of our time."

My husband and I began th enovena again as we had miseed mout several days worth.
Does your parish does much for the Divn Mercy Sunday. Where I live in Australia only one parish does the chaplet, mass, confession and benediciton.

I am very fortunate to live in an active and traditional parish. This is a rareity here on Long Island. Our parish had an entire program beginning after the last Mass on Sunday and lasting until dinner time. There was a recitation of the rosary; a talk on the mercy of our Lord; Benediction; chaplet and confession. The Fransican Friars of the Renewal also make a day of it at a parish not too far a way. We like to attend that but alas this year some sick toddlers and severe weather kept us at home.
