Illness abounds

Under the heading of completely frustrating things both Kevin and Kelli have come down with fevers and coughs today. Normally this would be a wonderful excuse to stay home and shut the world out but today we were expecting some friends who hail from Down Under. Actually they are currently living in sunny Georgia on a job related jaunt. The Bruggemans are taking advantage of their time here in the U.S. by spending vacations driving cross country visiting with other homeschooling families. Today was to be our day. They did drop by for a too brief time yesterday and the children got along beautifully. There are these three rambunctious boys who just took over the yard with tree climbing, fort climbing, swinging and other boy-type behaviors. It was great fun to watch. The three lovely girls were more sedate but still terrific fun. We are going to miss them.
